It was a good price for the area. And close to everything. The shower is very nice in that it has a hand held sprayer as well as a shower panel! The bed was comfy, and the comfort was comfy. The picture posted of the room is what you get. And there is a breakfast bar which was good. We were able to do a cash security deposit which is nice because then you don't have to wait a few days to get it back. It was clean. We used white noise for sleep so we couldn't hear anything. It has a small fridge and microwave.

The Athena Inn was an incredible value and exceeded my expectations. Room 109 was clean and the shower was very nice, there were no signs of bugs anywhere at all. In the room you have access to a refrigerator, microwave, and lots of TV channels. The friendly and experienced staff made checking in and out easy, plus a complimentary breakfast was convenient to grab and take on the road. It is than a 20 minute commute from downtown, and within walking distance of lots of restaurants.

room was immaculately clean. no patches in walls like most motels, Freshly painted and bedding clean. TV was in excellent condition with no dark or light spots. Bed was clean and comfortable. Staff were nice. We stayed in several different hotels on our trip but this one was definately the nicest and cleanest. Nice large room with space to move around. Highly recommend.
